The Happiest Place on Earth

First things first, this big guy turned 12... I officially have a preteen and an awesome one at that. On Ty's actual birthday I took cupcakes to his class and of course Ty was thankful enough to give me a big hug in front of his entire class with no signs of embarrassment. As I drove away from the school I realized that 2/3 of his required by law time with me is gone... I cried, as usual.  I never want to forget Ty at this age because he is turning into such a remarkable young man. Ty loves to read anything and everything to do with mythology.  He loves Lego sets, his Rip Stick and of course his mama. Ty is incredible with his sisters and does brilliantly in school. Last week he came and asked if he could walk with a friend to Starbucks to get a drink and hang out a little while, I reluctantly said yes and realized my sweet little boy is growing up too fast.
This is my bunch of monkeys after being in the car over five hours of LA traffic. I am happy to report the babies were amazing and had no melt downs on the drive to the happiest place on earth.
The babies thought the hotel was Disneyland. This was their first stay away from home and they were excited! They ran around the hotel room, jumped on the bed and giggled and giggled and giggled some more.

Charlie made herself right at home and notice that both babies removed their pants the second they were free from their car seats.

Day 1- Babies were obviously psyched and ready to have some fun
Oh my sweet big kids. This was taken in the five minutes they were not arguing that morning.

Charlie wasn't quite sure what to think of all the people

Penny had chucked her headband before we even made it into the park

Ty and Richard were best buddies on this trip. I'm pretty sure Richard thinks Ty walks on water and of course Ty has no problem taking on a little bro

The girls excited to ride the Matterhorn

Charlie trying to see everything

These babies wanted to run and touch not take pictures

Grandma Jackie got stuck with these three for the teacups

Penny was digging the teacups

Again Charlie was so interested in her new surroundings

People ask me all the time if Gianna is ever not smiling, my answer is yes but only if she's crying-

Richard and Josh waiting to ride Cars

Me and my hubs

Can't you tell how much my kids love pictures- at least Paris is looking at the camera
They are really starting to look identical

Daddy's Girl

My boys

My Girls

Almost all my monkeys

These babies loved California Park

They loved me for a few minutes but I lost the battle to Chip and Dale

Grandmas

Cousin Joey did more than his fare safe of kid watching and baby holding

These two are so much a like its ridiculous

Paris looks thrilled huh?

Holding my husbands hand back so we could take an appropriate picture

Gigi preparing for her movie career

Final day

I love that these kids will fight and fight and then two-seconds later are holding hands walking.  I had to stop and grab a picture of a precious moment when they like one another

Yes even my twinkies are holding hands and hugging one another now

That dirty little face says it all

I love this man

Penny is just a happy and loving little girl

Charlie and me on Dumbo

All and all our trip was fantastic! I am thrilled we had the opportunity to experience Disney with the twins and thankful we had family for help. We even managed a dinner out while Lindy and Jackie kept the kids. Everyone made some memories and I look forward to our next adventure. I have been feeling pretty under the weather for several months now and this trip really did give me some energy back. I have no doubt that our hectic life is taking its toll on me and that makes me that much more thankful we had this little break We had time for extra hugs, kisses, hand holding and tickles. There were so many moments that touched my heart and I never ever want to forget. I never want to forget Gigi's laugh as we raced from ride to ride. I never want to forget Ty being so brotherly to Richard and taking him under his wing. I never want to forget Paris hanging all over me every chance she got and being so very loving. I never want to forget riding Soaring Over California with Gianna next to me and as she leans forward and I quickly put my arm in front of her to push her back but realize Josh has already beat me to it. I never want to forget what an amazing father he reminded me he was in that simple moment. I never want to forget the excitement in my twins eyes with each new adventure. We laughed and played and made enough memories to last a lifetime and I never want to forget.

On the home front our house is starting to look like a house, we even have a roof now.
We are all starting to get excited about the new house as we are on the count down.
This time in our lives is a hectic one but I wouldn't change it for all the money in the world...
Treasure your precious moments my friends because you never know what tomorrow will bring.
Much Love!
